1:50Now PlayingLatest news coming in from Bihar and a major naxal attack has been averted in Gaya district after police recovered a large quantity of explosives. 83 improvised explosive devices and other explosives have been found in Charkrabandha forest area. Naxals were allegedly planning to target forces deployed for anti-naxal operations.
The security forces had received information about movement of naxals in thr Chakrabandha forest area. This is an area where already naxal operations have taken place so they have tight security forces. When the police conducted raid and search operations, they found a huge amount of explosives and IEDs from this place. Many of the explosives have been defused by the police.
