Pakistan Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Friday said the International Monetary Fund was giving his country a tough time over unlocking a $1 billion loan at a time when the country's economic situation is "unimaginable". Pakistan has recently taken several measures to meet the IMF review, including raising petroleum prices and allowing a market base exchange rate; however, this appears to be too little, too late. More measures to increase revenues are required by the bailout conditions.
