During President Donald Trump's SOTU speech, said Travis, was probably the wrong occasion and demonstrated poor taste and incredibly poor timing for Jemele Hill's reckless tweet.
Travis pointed out how Jemele Hill was fired from ESPN for calling President Trump a white supremacist and now might face employment consequences with her latest employer, The Atlantic, over her Malcolm X assassination reference. The Jemele Hill tweet, GETCHO HAND OUT MY POCKET, was a reference to the last words heard prior to Malcolm X's assassination.
