He concludes by saying celebrities are people who serve a purpose until their media shelf life expires.

Max Clifford, described as "the highest-profile and best-known publicist in the United Kingdom", has propelled aClifford wide range of clients to fame, including David Copperfield and Cheryl Cole, and promoted The Beatles in their early days. He has also dealt with more controversial subjects, including homophobia in the football world and tabloid harassment. He is known to have worked for unpaid cases out of sympathy and is an outspoken Labour supporter.
