What became clear in the Leveson enquiry is that the relationship between politicians and the press is far too close.
Says that the media barons and lobbyist are currently desperately lobbying to the prime minster to maintain the status quo.
She highlights that Journalists and Politicians are both professions almost exclusively derived from the same narrow social pool of the privileged, often going to the same universities together. Concludes by saying that politicians and the media are not one homogenous lump. She says that she's strongly opposed to this motion.
