Damian Green MP talks about Nick Cleggs apology, not at all sorry for the education policy. Highlights that more intelligent people from poorer backgrounds can now get into oxford than 10 or 20 years ago, huge social progress thanks to the coalition government.
Mentions the Deficit and that you don't bring borrowing down by borrowing more.
After saying that the deficit has going down by 30% Damian Green gives way to Chris Mullen MP who has official statistics saying that the public sector net debt (The Deficit) was £802Billion in the 2nd quarter of 2010 and is now £1039Billion and has in fact risen by 30%.
Welfare and unemployment issues are addressed. Finishing with a statement that the Labour government have always left unemployment figures higher then when they came into power.
