Biden campaigned on a promise to end student debt, something that he has been vasselating on since voters delivered on their end of the bargain and placed the 140 year old into the highest office in the land. In recent days, the administration has begun to float the idea that Biden will take some steps towards cutting people’s debt load, but there’s nothing like the debt jubilee that was promised, and is the morally, economically, and electorally correct and smart thing to do.
Marijuana legalization is another thorny issue for Democrats. It’s incredibly popular nationwide, among Democrats, Republicans, and Independents, but Joe Biden himself is indeed the architect of the tough on crime policies that put most people in prison for using the drug his party now wants to legalize. Biden is a bog-standard tough on crime politician, and legalization runs directly counter to the things he’s advocated for most of his life. So can he be moved?
Finally, taking a pop culture turn, what about Bennifer?! Will this iconic couple actually tie the knot after rekindling their relationship 20 years after breaking up? This is important political analysis people.
