Would it be focused on images (Instagram), video (Tik Tok) or around text (Tumblr/Twitter)? Whatever you choose, it couldn’t possibly be worse, for both ourselves and for the world, than what we already have.
Elon Musk is finalizing his acquisition of Twitter, which feels like the first grand pronouncement that he’s actually followed through with in a long time. Although Elon is set to be the private owner, his acquisition was made possible through other billionaires throwing vast sums of money at him. These billionaires, whether they made their money in tech or as Saudi Princes, understand the influence this buys them with the world's richest broke man.
Here’s what we’re looking for in a new social media platform:
-Autocorrect
-Edit button, but it’s only valid for 5 minutes
-It’s against the terms of services to not like Marvel movies
-A Thanos Button: half of all tweets and profiles are erased and removed from the entire platform
-You can only join if you make less than 100k, and you can only discuss cute animals or billionaire guillotines
-In order to log in, you have to reach a certain threshold on the breathalyzer test.
