The responses to the Dobbs ruling, the Supreme Court case that obliterated Roe V Wade and a women’s right to an abortion, have come in all shapes in sizes. Democratic leadership is more or less content with fundraising off of this, and hopefully getting a nice electoral boost (with which they’ll continue to sit on their thumbs and blame you for not voting). In the interpersonal space, however, things are getting heated.
A few women however have come forward to talk about how some prominent Republicans, namely Ivanka Trump, have had their own abortions in private while being publicly in support of forced birth. Lauren Santo Domingo is an entrepreneur, magazine editor, NYC socialite, and former best friend of Ivanka Trump. On Twitter, she publicly called out Ivanka for exactly this kind of bald-faced hypocrisy from anti-choice go-alongs like Ivanka.
Some men have also been called out. Doug Ducey, the Republican governor of Arizona, was called out by a Twitter user who alleged that his son made her take Plan B after they slept together. We can be absolutely sure that almost every single anti-choice legislator has assisted someone in getting an abortion, or adamantly demanded that their partner gets one to save them some embarrassment.
