Could Trump Still Be The Nominee From A Prison Cell?

Despite all charges brought against him, 78 charges in 3 different indictments, he’d probably still beat Ron DeSantis.

A recent New York Times poll found that, in their words that ‘Trump is Crushing DeSantis and G.O.P. Rivals.’ He leads his closest competitor Ron DeSantis, by a whopping 37 percentage points according to the first poll of the season.

How is it that Ron DeSantis has flopped so bad? It might just be that he’s plan unlikeable or at least ‘not fun.’ The NYTime poll found that interestingly, “the share of Republicans who said Mr. Trump was more “fun” than Mr. DeSantis (54 percent to 16 percent) almost perfectly mirrored the overall horse race.” As RuPaul says, you need charisma, uniqueness, nerve, and talent -- and it seems like DeSantis is going to shashay away.

Despite, or perhaps because of, Trump’s 44 federal charges and 34 state charges, all of them felonies, Trump still received 22 percent support among people who believe he has committed serious federal crimes. That number is greater than the 17 percent of the vote DeSantis earned from all polled. Sorry Ron, turns out making your whole thing ‘stop woke’ really might not work!
