Republican Senator Markwayne Mullin through a ton of cold water on the Republican Party's impeachment efforts in the House by admitting, on live TV, that the offenses the Republicans have laid out so far are absolutely not impeachable. Mullin pointed out that the timeline doesn't work with the Constitutional requirements for impeachment because none of them happened when Biden was actually president - and most of them (if not all) happened while he was a private citizen. During a recent interview on Newsmax Republican Senator Mark Wayne Mullen, the guy who of course tried to fight a Teamsters leader during a recent Senate hearing. And of course he's actually been sparring with Matt Gaetz on social media recently. But Mark Wayne Mullen actually finally did something fairly decent. He went on Newsmax and with one sentence completely destroyed the House Republican's impeachment plans for President Biden. Here is what Mark Wayne Mullen said, and there were multiple sentences, but it's the last sentence alone that destroys everything they needed. Here's what he said. The bar is real high. There's not question about that. Uh, it's gotta be a misdemeanor or high crime or treason, and other part has to be committed while he was in office. The current office that he holds, here's the sentence. So what he did as vice president or what he did in between the two may not be impeachable.

So Mark Wayne Mullen is actually using the guidelines set forward by the, you know, laws of the United States Constitution. He says, listen, in order for us to impeach a sitting president of the United States, the alleged crimes, high crimes, misdemeanors, whatever you got, it actually has to be done while he's in office be because if it's not, then it's not an impeachable offense by definition. So he's not saying that Biden didn't do anything wrong. Of course, you know, he doesn't want to give the left that kind of ammunition. He's strongly implying it, but he's not saying it. What he is saying is like, ah, you guys kind of picked the wrong timeframe for us to even do anything about this. Like, if he did something as vice president, then, we should have caught it then, but we didn't. So kind of gets away with it, right? And then if he did anything, you know, during the time when he was not vice president and not running for president, you know, several years in there, by the way, which for the record is literally the entire timeframe of everything these Republicans are looking at.

It all took place while he wasn't in office. I've been saying that for a fricking year, but Mullen's like, yeah, that's not, uh, that's not impeachable. And technically I'll go ahead and add onto that for you, Mr. Mullen. Um, not only is it not impeachable, but because he didn't hold any political office, it's also not illegal trading on your name using the connections that you made while vice President of the United States to make money after you leave office. You may not like it. It may seem shady, it may seem corrupt, but it's not illegal. You are allowed to do that. Uh, vice President Biden could have left office and the very next day he could have called

Xi Jinping over in China and said, Hey, it's uh, Biden. I was just vice president yesterday. Today, I'm private citizen. Uh, I want a big contract to do business in your country. Remember, we were good buddies. You should do that because of who I am. I've got lots of connections in dc That scenario that I just explained right there, that's not illegal. It's not, there is literally no law preventing that. And if there is, please for the love of God, show me.
