Former Republican Operative Blasts Trump For ‘Bilking His Cult Members’

Former Republican operative Cheri Jacobus (who has now become a very vocal Never Trumper), lashed out against the former President this week for, as she put it, "bilking his cult members." But it isn't just the fact that he's trying to take their cash - Jacobus believes there is much more to Trump's latest round of grifting that he is hoping could save him from a prison sentence in the future. A former Republican operative that has like so many of them now turned into a Never Trumper, uh, by the name of Sherry Jacobis, actually came out this week and suggested that Donald Trump is not just in her words, bilking his cult members, but she thinks that Donald Trump's efforts to sell all this nonsensical stuff like pieces of the suit from his mugshot in Georgia. She thinks there's something far more sinister to it, and I happen to agree with her. Lemme read you this, this is what she said this week. The fae billionaire bilking, his maga cult members out of their rent money to pay his bills, is in line with Trump's lifelong habit of blatant cons and scams for which he routinely pays little, if any price he knows all he needs is just one MAGA juror, secretly and lovingly fondling the piece of Trump's mugshot suit in his or her pocket.

And he's back in power just as Vladimir Putin planned. Okay? I mean, sure with the Putin thing, but, uh, she brings up a good point. There is a reason, and I've actually mentioned this by the way, there is a reason Trump is still out there conning these people. There's a reason that Donald Trump routinely attacks the judges, attacks, the prosecutors attacks, you know, people in the courtroom. And it's because this is all from his political rallies to his posts on truth, social, to selling pieces of his suit. It's all manipulation and not just to get money. As Jacobi's points out, part of the manipulation is the hope that one of these people is gonna be on one of those juries. And if I can get one, Trump thinks if I can just get one, I can get a hung jury and I can get off with this.

If I can get two or three or more, I might just be found not guilty. I could be exonerated. And that's why Trump does this. It's why he's doing all of this. It's why he continuously goes on these rants on truth social. It's not because he's just losing his mind. I think that's part of it. Don't get me wrong, and by the way, mental health experts do think that's also part of it, but the bigger part is trying to get the message out to as many people as possible and hoping that those people will take the message and give it to somebody else, and so on and so forth, till you've tainted entire jury pools into being Trump believing judge hating jurors. That's what he's going for here. Now listen, in a trial, you're gonna go through jury selection, right? Both the defense and the prosecution are gonna have their opportunity to submit their questionnaires for the juror so they can excuse people, but they can't get everybody,

And they can't excuse everybody, and they can't exclude everybody. So there's a good chance that Donald Trump's ranting and raving like a lunatic could resonate with somebody that ends up on one of those juries. So that's why I do agree with what Jacobis said. Now, I don't know if you're gonna have a juror actually sitting there rubbing a piece of Trump's suit while they're in the jury box, but it's possible, and Trump knows that, and that's why he is not gonna stop.
