Drunk Girl DESTROYS 2 Signs and Blows Almost TRIPLE the Limit

Around 3:09 AM on December 8, 2023, Officer Molina-Jaramillo with the Tampa Police Department responded to the scene of a motor vehicle accident involving 2 damaged traffic signs at the southwest corner of E 7th Avenue and N 15th Street. The total value of the damaged signs was later estimated to be $300. Officer Parker witnessed the driver of a grey 2020 Jeep exit from the vehicle, and she was identified as 24-year-old Callie Belskis.

As the officers were speaking with her, he observed indicators of impairment and detected the odor of alcohol. The officers first conducted a crash investigation. After concluding their crash investigation, Officer James Blanchard was called to the scene to initiate a DUI investigation. Callie told Officer Blanchard that she consumed at least 6 drinks earlier that evening at the RITZ Ybor. Based on his suspicion of impairment, Callie was asked to perform field sobriety exercises.

Officer Blanchard started with the Horizontal Gaze Nystagmus (HGN) test. The second exercise was the Walk and Turn test. During the Walk and Turn test, Callie did not touch heel-to-toe on each step, took an incorrect number of steps, and failed to turn. The final exercise was the One Leg Stand test, and Callie failed to raise her foot in the proper fashion or count in the correct sequence.

Based on the property damage caused by the motor vehicle accident, her indicators of impairment, the odor of alcohol, her admission to consuming alcohol earlier that evening, and her inability to adequately perform the field sobriety exercises, Callie was placed under arrest for driving under the influence. Callie was transported by Officer Blanchard to the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office for further processing. At the jail, she agreed to submit to a breath test. Her breath test results indicated BAC levels of 0.235% and 0.238%, which were almost triple the legal limit of 0.08%. She was charged with a DUI with Property Damage or Personal Injury (316.193(3)(c)(1))) and eventually released on a $500 bond pending her court appearance.
