as posted by the channelA politician and his significant other enter therapy. Will they be able to hash out the traumas the politician has experienced? What's the best cure for having our politicians too helplessly beholden to special interests and lobbying money? Let us know in the comments and SUBSCRIBE for your personal therapy every week.
Many congresspeople, senators and other American politicians develop unhealthy feelings of codependence with their significant others - corporate lobbyists. Why do these special interests hold such a special place in their heart? Is there anything that can be done to prevent helpless representatives from developing dependence, addiction, or positive feelings towards money given to them and their campaigns by K street lobbying firms? Perhaps the only hope is for a trained psychologist, psychiatrist or marriage counselor to engage a lobbyist and a congressperson in hopes of ending their controlling relationship. In this sketch, a therapist explores how a congressperson's actions are controlled through voluntarily accepted donations of money and perks to their campaigns, SuperPACs and affiliated political parties and organizations.
