The Story Of Amazon
Brad starts off by saying that a lot of people don’t even remember the humble beginnings of Amazon. But what you need to remember is that Jeff Bezos never stopped expanding. What people need to remember is how Jeff Bezos was never satisfied and never wanted to stop growing and expanding, bringing on what we see now with Whole Foods, and Prime Video, for instance.
Amazon MGM Deal - The Amazon Studios Leap
This deal is a whole new leap, and Brad Stone says that this is no doubt the next type of leap for Amazon. Jeff Bezos is a very competitive guy, and has been battling Bezos for years. Amazon Studios is certainly Amazon realizing that they can just make movies instead of licensing them. And after the Amazon MGM deal, Amazon can now house the entire MGM franchise in their Prime Video library.
Cinemas will come back, but streaming is the future of entertainment. And this Amazon MGM deal is only evident of what’s next.
