Joining David Grasso today is Ray Aria, the creator of the cryptocurrency Flairrcoin & CEO of FlairrLabs.
Why invest in Flairrcoin? Why is Flairrcoin different from other Crypto assets?
Aria says that Flairrcoin looks at Blockchain technology and its problem of quantum vulnerability. Quantum vulnerability is where the security of something might withstand today’s technology, but is still susceptible to quantum computers. In this case, blockchain technology and Bitcoin have quantum vulnerability and are susceptible to quantum computers.
To overcome this, Flairrcoin uses Block Lattice. To put in a simplified term, blockchain technology is a line whereas Block Lattice is like a tree. And it is possible for a quantum computer to break through Block Lattice, but that would take a year whereas quantum computing can break through blockchain in a matter of seconds.
What is quantum computing?
Quantum Computing is done through photons. These photons, elements of light, do all of the computing instead of electrons, electricity. Photons are tremendously lighter, faster, and more efficient than electrons. At this time, quantum computers aren’t commercialized and take up a lot of space, not to mention very expensive. Ray Aria says that quantum computing will be available to the commercial masses after 5 or so years even. And it is then that blockchain will be vulnerable.
