Joining Julia Sun today are Dr. Dyan Hes, Medical Director at Gramercy Pediatrics NYC, and AJ Swinson the Chief of Staff at the New Journey PAC.
We understand that there is a medical reason to keep vaccinated people and unvaccinated people separate, but why is this not discrimination?
There isn’t a law that says that you have to be vaccinated, but then it gets into tricky territory with wearing a mask. Dr. Dyan Hes believes that the own-ness should be on unvaccinated people, and that if they are unvaccinated they should take responsibility for wearing a mask, whereas for vaccinated people it can remain optional.
How do we tell businesses to stop separating vaccinated people and unvaccinated people?
AJ Swinson believes that the main reason businesses do this is for people to feel better, and at the end of the day the people who are in danger are the unvaccinated people. And if that is the case, then perhaps businesses should separate unvaccinated people from each other. But if you do separate these people, those who are vaccinated should not get any better treatment.
