The 2020 Olympics were postponed an entire year due to the pandemic. Unfortunately, a year later, Japan is in the midst of a COVID-19 surge. As a result, there won’t be any fans at the events or ‘funny business.’
‘Funny business?’ Yes, ‘funny business.’ At the 2016 Olympics, a record-breaking 460,000 condoms were distributed to the Olympic athletes.
If you didn’t know, the Olympics aren’t just an athletic event but also a social event. There’s tons of intermingling, partying and much more.
Sadly, two athletes tested positive for COVID-19 at the Olympic village. Some are wondering why the Olympics weren’t just cancelled.
If you aren’t excited for this Olympics, you can look forward to the Beijing Winter Olympics next year or the next Summer Olympics in 2024.
