How did DJ Five Venoms get this gig? And will he be at every Rolling Loud?
Yes, we will see him at every Rolling Loud and he has been at every single one since the beginning of the event. He met the people behind Rolling Loud back in 2010 when they had a touring company called Dope ENT. DJ Five Venoms would do some shows with them and this eventually grew to Rolling Loud.
What does he expect to see at this year’s Rolling Loud festival since we didn’t have one last year?
A lot of energy. Even more than previous years because this is the first full-fledged festival in the U.S.A. since COVID hit. Everyone will be reuniting with people they haven’t seen in a long time.
Which location lineup is DJ Five Venoms’ favorite?
Miami is his favorite. It is the flagship show so it’s the largest one.
How is it being a DJ during a pandemic?
It impacted him greatly because there were no festivals or clubs. He was forced to learn new ways to becoming a DJ like DJing on Twitch, hosting shows on there, or doing digital festivals like Rolling Loud live streams. He had to get used to not having the energy there of a live audience and instead having to look at a live chat.
What new artists does DJ Five Venoms find himself DJing recently?
He is using a lot of Lil Baby, Lil Durk, DaBaby, Hot Boy, Fredro Bang, Megan Thee Stallion and many others. He’s been using a lot of new good music.
