The Teacher Shortage Act, sponsored by Senator Kevin Dahle, DFL-Northfield, creates an electronic teacher job board, establishes grants to student teachers in shortage areas, institutes a paraprofessional pathway for teacher licensure, offers loan forgiveness programs, and expands Q Comp for all schools.
