The situation in several districts of the Vidarbha region including Yavatmal, Akola, Amravati and Wardha has reached the September level. Vidarbha appears to have become the epicentre for the current surge behind COVID-19 cases in the state. It has been found that the infection is slowly getting transmitted to other places like Pune and Mumbai. The jump in COVID-19 cases on Wednesday was steep, considering that a day before the state had recorded 6,218 new COVID-19 cases. Listen in!
