However, overcoming vaccine hesitancy in rural areas can be a big challenge. Vaccine acceptance could depend on a lot of factors such as patriarchy, the village elders, family factors and other local factors. BJP's Sudesh Verma said the local doctors, whom the villagers trust, NGOs, community leaders, have to be roped in to instill confidence.
