Some folks think that Joe Biden was elected president to just lower the temperature of American politics, not actually do anything. How that makes sense to literally anyone is beyond us, though. No one gets elected to the highest office in the land without making a few promises to change some stuff.
Of course, Joe Biden is also the candidate who proclaimed “nothing will fundamentally change,” but somehow the guy still sees himself as being as transformative as the president who presided over the New Deal.
