Is the Biden Administration handling the current border crisis any better than what the Trump Administration was doing?

Joining Julia Sun today are two friends of the show Democratic Strategist Nicole Brener Schmitz and Executive Director from Feminists For Liberty, Kat Murti.

In the last few months we’ve seen a high number of children at the border, where living conditions aren’t great. Nicole Brener Schmitz says that that being said, Joe Biden isn’t making the same mistakes that Trump made, and the issues of the border crisis cannot be solved overnight. Border protocols are being put in place, and need time to be fully implemented, a reason why Biden has asked that families who are trying to cross the border to wait.

Nicole Brener Schmitz also states how if the Republican Party wanted to actually see results they would meet the Biden Administration at the table to get things done, like what we’re seeing with the Problem Solvers Caucus.

Kat Murti doesn’t believe that the Biden administration isn’t doing a great job, even after starting on a good note with reversing the Muslim travel bans. Unfortunately, he’s kept up with policies from the Trump Administration which isn’t good for handling any sort of border security and addressing what needs to be done to solve the border crisis.

Kat Murti also says that what is happening with Joe Biden is common with Presidents from the Democratic Party, as they will say they are pro-immigration, but then their actions will say otherwise. For example, Obama on record having deported more people than the Trump Administration.
