The month of February is Black History Month. There has never been a better time for people of color to reach their full potential. It's still not easy, but it's better than it used to be.
When the pandemic first broke out, there were protests by Black Lives Matter, and many big banks came out and pledged a large sum of money to assist young entrepreneurs and investors of color in pushing not only the narrative, but also putting money to work for people to go out and make something better for themselves. Being a minority entrepreneur has never been more advantageous. For example, Gen Z is 90% pro-Black Lives Matter, implying that there are more people who empathize now than ever before.
There are many companies that are supporting minority entrepreneurs and investors. For example, an app like NYCE has a mission to create 100,000 millionaires of color by 2030. To also create an additional $100 billion of wealth for communities that have never had it. The goal is to lift people out of poverty and up a few rungs in the social-economic ladder.
