Nearly 56% of the world's top institutions already offer bitcoin and blockchain classes to their students. Cryptocurrency is an online currency that can be bought and sold just like stocks.
Because of how much its value has increased over the last decade, it has made many millionaires. Bitcoin, a well-known cryptocurrency, is frequently in the news as it continues to break through price barriers, attracting more purchasers every day. According to CNBC, new investors account for 40% of all cryptocurrency purchases.
Despite the success of crypto, the same survey indicated that one-third of consumers have no idea how it works. This is why crypto must be taught in our classrooms. Because they are using technology early in their life, children should learn about crypto.
From their music to video games, children are exposed to cryptocurrency. We can better prepare our children for when they enter the bitcoin market if we teach them about the perks and risks involved. Learning more about crypto may also aid in their job search after graduation. Indeed reports that, as a result of the crypto industry's success, job posts in the field have increased by 118 percent in the previous year.
