Palaniswami (EPS) on Friday, hours before announcing the party's stance on the state's impending Erode by-polls. Annamalai and CT Ravi, the BJP's national General Secretary, met with AIADMK leaders at their respective homes. During the briefing the BJP leaders remained coir on announcing support to one faction. These political developments have just come days before the by-polls in the state. When asked about the BJP's position on the bypoll and whether they favour EPS or OPS, Ravi stated, "The final deadline for submitting nomination is February 7, and there is still time to decide."
