How are Democrats prepping for the upcoming primary? Are they listening to their constituents? Actually passing legislation in office that could help the country and stave off the Party of Death i.e. the Republicans? Hell no. They’re continuing and worsening in-fighting in the democratic party because … money is nice.
Corporate Democrats have announced they’re forming a SuperPAC to ensure they don’t get primaried by more progressive candidates in deep blue states. This seems like an incredibly ill-advised move compared to putting money toward stopping the much greater threat being faced this upcoming election season: a Republican resurgence.
To add fuel to the fire, corporate Dems also reached out to Axios to publish an article against the Squad, a group of progressive representatives. Seems like there could be bigger things these leading Democrats could be focusing on, but apparently the greatest threat to democracy for them is a group of progressive badasses who actually listen to their constituents when it comes to housing and healthcare, rather than corporate donors. How do you think this primary is going to go?
