How can Biden change his message and turn around his absolutely catastrophic recent poll numbers? According to this week’s guest on the program, Max Moran, a researcher at the Revolving Door Project, it’s pretty simple: he should do popular things.
One thing that polls fantastically well, and it’s also something that Biden himself campaigned on in 2020, is making sure that the wealthy and corporations are paying their fair share, and playing by a set of rules that are enforced by our federal regulators. Some of these are things that Biden needs congress for, but cracking down on corporate corruption is something that Biden can simply ask federal regulators to get tougher on, and dust off some of the tools they’ve let atrophied over the past few decades.
