Howard Students have been staging a sit-in for almost a month now. They are demanding housing fixes. Students are recording and reporting leaking pipes, collapsed roofs, mold, rodents, and roaches in the campus dorm rooms. They also report a lack of housing available to them which forces them to find off-campus housing.

Students are paying huge tuition fees but there is a huge disconnect between what students pay and the value that the University delivers. If Howard University won’t provide housing for its students, someone else will. They will seize this opportunity as a business opportunity and see if they can provide housing for these students because clearly there is a demand for it.
