Dogecoin’s rival meme coin, Shiba Inu, has surged to 30% hitting a new record high of $0.00006. Shiba Inu supporters are pushing for Robinhood to list the coin on their app. They have even started a petition on Change.org. The petition now has more than 300,000 signatures. But Robinhood still hasn’t confirmed the token.

The so-called ‘Dogecoin’ killer has a market capitalization of more than 29 billion making it the 11th largest cryptocurrency and close to overtaking Dogecoin.

With every cryptocurrency, the same question arises: what is the use? Is it just people coming together to pump up the value of this coin? Or is it people thinking they can get rich quick? To some, this seems like financial illiteracy manifested and quantified.

Do you think Shiba Inu will continue to grow? Let us know in the comments below.
