What if a large corporation offered older employees a severance package in exchange for them retiring and being replaced with younger staff? That is just what Delta Airlines did.
During the epidemic, they compensated their senior flight attendants and pilots to retire, and now they're more profitable than ever.
This is referred to as juniority, a combination of seniority and junior. It's a fantastic concept for everyone.
Millennials and Gen Z want to advance in their professions, so why not pay older employees a severance payout to retire and make place for younger, less expensive, and more enthusiastic workers?
The average Millennial and Gen Z individual is struggling. Many of us are poor, and the average baby boomer is worth ten times what we are.
Why don't you give us a chance? Big businesses should follow Delta's lead and create opportunities for young people to advance.
Having younger staff means cheaper healthcare expenditures, more competitive compensation, and a business culture that reflects current trends.
Meanwhile, businesses can increase profits and lower prices for the average client.
Inflation is out of control, so assisting baby boomers as they move to retirement is vital to keeping expenses low.
Millennials and Generation Z are deserving of a chance to succeed. And we've been waiting for our parents to eventually stop working for a long time.
