as posted by the channelIs age a massive issue in American politics? The two likely nominees in 2024, Trump and Biden, are way up there in years. Trump would be 82 at the end of his second term, and Biden a whopping 86 years old.
Now, of course, everyone doesn't age at the same rate, and some people have it together for a long time. But it isn't normal for the leader of the free world to be in their late 80s?
Before you call me an ageist, many people also don't want super-young leaders. There seems to be a sweet spot for leadership, age-wise, and it is definitely somewhere in the middle. The world has changed a lot since our presidential candidates were born.
