In what will surely make its way over to America, government-funded experts and policymakers in the UK are now proposing that wealthy nations, like the US, implement mandatory rationing of basic goods in order to, quote, "fight climate change."
Similar to what we have seen in communist-led Cuba or socialist Venezuela, or in Europe and America during the 1940s, rationing is a way for governments to control the distribution of society's most important resources, like food, transportation, materials, and energy and limit how much of these goods that citizens are allowed to purchase.
Of course, the last time we saw rationing in the western world was during the era of World War II; citizens at the time, except the rationing in order to support their country's war efforts. And once a war concluded, society went back to normal. But this time, of course, there will be no conclusion to the war that the radical left wants us to fight.
There will be no end to the battle against climate change because the climate is always changing. And that's exactly the point of all this. The woke left's climate change agenda is not motivated out of concern for the environment. They couldn't care less about the environment. Have you seen the streets and parks of San Francisco?
No, the climate change agenda is about controlling you. Controlling what you eat, what you drive, how you live, what energy you're allowed to use, and what you can buy. Scratch a woke leftist, and you will find an authoritarian every single time. Never allow these people to have power over your life.
