Kate Smith, Russell Westbrook, Portnoy Barstool

On today’s Outkick the Show, Clay Travis discussed the most recent Twitter activity from Mike Portnoy of Barstool who has decided to consistently blow up Clay’s Twitter. Clay has officially challenged him to a boxing match on Pay Per View. Stay tuned. Also, Mike Portnoy is planning on coming on Clay’s radio show, outkick the Coverage.

Clay Travis also addressed the Kate Smith overreaction by the New York Yankees and the Philadelphia Flyers. Kate Smith, said Travis, was a singer/recording artist from the 1930’s who regularly sang God Bless America at Flyers games. Kate Smith raised the equivalent of $11 billion toward the WW II efforts to remove Hitler from power and to win the war. She was recognized as a hero by President Ronald Reagan and died in 1985. Apparently, said Travis, she sang a satire in the 1930’s that has offended some social justice warriors as of late. The Yankees have now opted to stop playing her rendition of God Bless America, and the Flyers are removing her statue in front of the Flyers’ arena.

Clay Travis also mentioned Russell Westbrook of the OKC Thunder who has consistently refused to answer questions from reporters. His post-season play, said Travis,

Clay Travis also talked about Game of Thrones and offered his projections on how the series will ultimately end up in four weeks.

Finally, Clay Travis commented on Klay Thompson of the Golden State Warriors and his dominant performance against the LA Clippers. He attributed his success to a swim in the Pacific Ocean.
