Suez Canal Crisis in Urdu/Hindi

Suez Canal Crisis was the major event happened after the Second World War. The crisis begins after Nassar, the Egyptian President nationalize the canal and close it for the European countries, especially for Britain and France. In response to the nationalization of the canal, Britain and Egypt sought military operation. The aim was to remove Nassar and to take control of Canal again. In the end, this incident humiliated France and Britain internationally and Nasar emerged as victorious in the Arab World. Both France and Britain initially supported Israel who actually first invade Egypt and then followed by France and Britain. The three allies initially gained their military objectives but the canal was useless because of severe pressure from the United States and the Soviet Union. United Nations also played their part by creating an Emergency force. The plan was signed at the Protocol of Sevres and Israel agreed to be an aggressor. The crisis showed fewer casualties for an invader and much higher for Egypt. Israel got some of its objectives. The Straits of Tiran and Gulf of Aqaba was reopened for the trade and shipping purposes of Israel. The US thought that he was not informed about the military operation and threaten Britain’s economic system by applying sanctions and also put pressure on the International Monetary Fund to not give economic assistance to Britain. In the end, all this work and eventually Britain and France pull their forces back in Dec 1956 and Israel pull its forces back in March 1957. Nassar was victorious and the canal was reopened for shipping purposes in April 1957 under Egypt’s control.
