Cuban Missile Crisis in Urdu/Hindi

Cuban Missile Crisis is one of the most important crises in the history of the Cold War. The first time in the cold war, two superpowers came so close to each other that they became a possibility of direct nuclear war. The crisis remained for 13 days and also known as the October crisis. The Soviet Union deployed some missiles in Cuba in response to the missiles deployed by the United States in Turkey. Before this United States made a failed attempt to invade Cuba also known as “Bay of Pigs” Invasion. This made communist Castro a national hero and caused him to make further strengthen ties with the Soviet Union. In response, US made a Naval Quarantine (Blockade) prevent further missiles reaching Cuba. On 15 Oct, an emergency session of the United Nations Security Council was also conveyed in which the US showed the captured images of Soviet missiles in Cuba. However, US never came to know the exact nature of missiles in Cuba. After tense negotiations between the United States and the Soviet Union, they reached an agreement. Kennedy secretly agreed that the United States would remove its missiles from Turkey in response to the Russian missiles being removed from Cuba. This made Khrushchev image bad because later the US removal of missiles was not made public. United States Army chief called it the “Greatest defeat in our history”. In the end, Castro was also not happy with the Soviet Union, because Khrushchev and Kennedy never consult him, but he continued his relationship with the Soviet Union after the crisis.
