Celebrities Will Walk Your Dog?! Strike Solidarity Auctions

While the SAG-AFTRA and WGA strikes put Hollywood on pause, some of the biggest stars are stepping up to raise money for workers affected by the work stoppage. In July, a top Hollywood executive says the plan is to drag out the current WGA strike against the Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producers until the writers have lost everything, including their homes. For many, this has been exactly what has happened as we’ve passed day 100 of the strike.

But A-listers are coming to the rescue and auctioning off things to raise strike money. The items, many of which have supassed $1,000 on eBay, include objects like signed scripts of “Atlanta” and “The Lost Boys” or Tom Wait’s fedora alongside experiences like Adam Scott walking your dog or John Lithgow painting a mural in your home. Francesca and comedian Erin Lennox pitch some other ideas for the celebrity auction. What would you pay the big bucks to have someone do?
