17:49Now PlayingIsrael has killed over 2,000 Palestinians and injured thousands more as aerial strikes continue to assault civilians.
Even before this war, 97% of Gaza’s water is undrinkable due to the occupation. Now, Gazans are being told to flee, with no way out. A crossing that was ostensibly open, to Egypt, was bombed as Palestininas tried to escape the violence.
Now Israel continues to call for over 1 million people to ‘evacuate’ -- edging towards forced population transfer. Meanwhile those refugees do not receive proper shelter, food, and safety, they are receiving bombs.
At the same time, Israel is cut off the flow of food, medicine, water and electricity to Gaza. Though Israel claims to have turned water back on, aid workers and a Gaza government spokesperson said they’ve to see it. About half a million Gaza residents have taken refuge in U.N. shelters. Juliette Touma, a spokesperson for the U.N.’s Palestinian refugee agency said “Gaza is running dry.”
Is this another Nakba?
