They are giving out $6 million in grants, with an emphasis on creating employment opportunities for Black youth. One the beneficiaries of the grants is Black Girl Ventures. It was founded in 2016 to provide Black and Brown women-identifying entrepreneurs important peer-to-peer mentoring and access to capital. Up to this point, they have funded more than 264 minority-owned businesses.
