Bold Life’s host, Oni Higgins, sits down with Victoria Konefal, actress currently on “Days Of Our Lives”, and asks about any acting advice and auditioning advice she could impart to anyone wanting to get their start in show business.
Konefal relates that getting your start in the game and auditioning can be very intimidating and that it’s easy to reflect negatively on yourself, especially with how much competition there is. And in that, always staying true to your performance and what you can do is going to be your best option. It’s easy to conform to what others want you to be in this society, but at the end of the day casting directors want to see you.
You are your own most special quality, not to mention something that no one else has, so give it your all and leave it all on the table.
Konefal also says to not give up, and that persistence in this business is key. She recalls being rejected so many times, and that it can be easy to lose hope. But you have to remember why you started acting, and why you want to be in the entertainment industry, and just let that fuel you.
