YouTube Description
as posted by the channelIn March of 2020, the average emergency fund someone had was $400. How can we make sure we’re more prepared than that in 2021?
In today’s consumerist culture, we get so focused with “I need for right now” that we can forget “I need for what’s coming next.”
Over at Bold, Jordan Elizabeth Gelber sat down with Cynthia Frunzi, Financial Coach with Millionaire Within, to talk about the importance of having financial literacy and planning for your financial future.
Firstly, why is it necessary to have financial literacy and to plan for your financial future? Frunzi says, frankly, it’s because tomorrow is going to be here before we know it. And to that end we don’t know what’s coming or what could happen. And between the 900,000 Americans filing for unemployment, the events with GameStop and r/wallstreetbets, stocks going up, interest rates remaining very low, something is going to come of this. And one should take advantage of these moments safely and remain smart about it.
Frunzi also says it’s important that we prepare today with the tax knowledge for tomorrow. This is so we not only have money for a rainy day, but we have money for a tax free retirement.
