If Durant leads the Warriors to victory tonight and ultimately to a championship, Durant could possibly become the MVP. The current odds (which have plummeted) would make this a good investment.
Clay Travis then commented on the St. Blues Blues and their loss in Game 6 to the Boston Bruins in the Stanley Cup Finals last night. They choked in their opportunity to win their fist championship, and now they move back to Boston for Game 7.
Clay Travis then voiced his opinion on the current assault on the game of dodgeball, with a Canadian college professor recently calling it a “dehumanizing tool of oppression.” This is representative of how soft our world has become. The future of sports, said Travis, is juice boxes and orange slices over scoreboards. “Sometimes we need to hear we suck at things. As much as we may not want to hear about it, it only helps us grow up and find things we can do” added Travis.
Clay Travis then talked about Justin Bieber’s challenge (over Twitter) to Tom Cruise to enter the octagon and have an MMA fight. “Has Bieber lost his mind?” wondered Travis. Clay predicted Cruise would win and win decisively.
Finally, Clay Travis addressed the shooting of David Ortiz, aka “Big Papi” in the Dominican Republic. Clay is of the opinion that it was an assassination attempt and not a robbery. The question is who would want to off such an affable guy?
