21:39Now Playing80% of Democrats, 57% of Independents, and 56% of Republicans support a ceasefire, so why doesn’t our president?
In October, Joe Biden’s approval among Democrats dropped 11 percentage points. Biden is at risk of making himself even more dislikable and alienating his base through his continued support of Israel. 49% of Democrats say they also disapprove of Israel's response to Hamas' attacks and similarly, 46% disapprove of how Biden has navigated the conflict. Even if Americans don’t necessarily think they know ‘the right answer’ to the issue, they believe in a ceasefire and are becoming more critical of Israel and aware of the occupation.
In polling, Biden’s support among Muslim-Americans has also plummeted, even more dramatically. In key states such as Michigan, Arizona and Wisconsin, only 5.2% said they would vote for the Democrat compared to 80 percent who said they voted for Biden in 2020.
Who said a wartime president has to get re-elected?
